Angela Sun
Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, California on October 19, 1979. She is a American journalist and sportscaster. She is also a documentary film maker and television presenter. She earned her degree in Sociology and Communication from the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing. She took part in various pro-am Surf competitions which allowed her to get sponsorships from brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. It was the fame she gained through the events she took part in which led Sun to the world of entertainment. Later, she became an investigative film director and journalist as also an athlete. Sun was mainly an anchor on many channels. In 2003, Sun was a Fox Sports Net reporter. Sun also hosted American Ninja Warrior in 2012 together with Matt Iseman, Jonny Mosley and Jill Moseley. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute in 2014. Sun is the first Asian-American person to be a part of ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports and Tennis Channel. Sun's acting skills have earned her fame. She was a part of films including Goliath (2016) and hit the Floor(2014-2016) An Ideal Getaway(2009) Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun's 2014 feature length document Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a documentary that focused on the impact of pollution caused by plastics on oceans. She created, wrote and directed it herself.
