Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter. She has released more than 20 albums. DiFranco's music is classified as alternative rock, folk rock, but it also has hints of jazz and hip-hop. Ani Difranco is believed to be a feminist hero as well as a Grammy award winner. In the beginning, as one of the early female musicians in the 90s, she founded her own label. DiFranco born on 23 September 1970 in the city of Buffalo in New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who met Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
