It is the sole female skier with the highest score of her. She's one of the top skiers in history and one of the most loved skiers within America. United States. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn is a member of the US Ski Team. She has won at least four world championships. She has a long and distinguished history of success in American sport. She is one of only six female athletes to have won in all five alpine skiing World Cup events. Overall, she's had the 82 World Cup championships. One of the best skiers in the world and the most popular American ski racer has decided to end her career following the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. The four-time World Cup overall champion decided to step down following numerous ailments. Her announcement was made via social media. In the coming weeks, I'll be competing in the final race of my career in the Downhill and SG World Championships in Re Sweden.
