At 19 years old, she released Here, her first single. The song was an instant hit and received praise from both listeners and critics alike. It reached number 19 on the Canadian Hot 100 and Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone ranked the track as one of the year's most memorable Songs. The same year she launched the album she titled Know It All, the single Scars to Your Beautiful ranked at the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200. The track was also one of the five original songs. It was a special track due to her interview with Rap-Up that she did with people who listened to her music could identify with her journey of discovering their own love and rethinking their beliefs about her. Cara's music is known to contain messages of love as well as self-love and mental wellbeing. All of it is a result of her personal journey as she has suffered from mental health problems and insomnia. According to Reuters interview, she's described her album as half-tumultuous however, it is half finished. People have told her that she discovered her development in therapy.
